Security

You should be concerned about security when doing business over the internet.

Our Web Site uses the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol to transmit sensitive information such as your credit card number. SSL works by using a private key to encrypt data and transfer via the SSL connection.

You can see that a secure connection is being used by the prefix "https:" in your browser address window.

Some points to consider:
  • Your credit card number is always subject to abuse. Whenever it is quoted over the telephone and particularly when it leaves your person for imprinting your number can be recorded and used illegally.
  • Never quote your credit card number in an email or use on the internet on a non secure facility.
  • SSL protocol offers the most secure method of transacting over the internet and is safer than most other offline methods.
