What is a Railway Resource Guide ?

These new guides have been produced by the ARHS (NSW) Railway Resource Centre (RRC) to assist all railway / tramway enthusiasts and researchers to locate information on the various aspects of the railway and tramway systems in NSW. These guides will cover subjects such as Railway & Tramway History, Railway & Tramway Operations, Administration, Branch Line History, Main Line History as well as information on NSW locomotives and rolling stock.

Each Railway Resource Guide provides a list of information that may be found in any of the following sources:

How Do I Order Copies ?
A current list of available Railway Resource Guides is shown below. Simply print the order form, tick the guide/s you require and mail the completed form to the ARHS Railway Resource Centre. Prices include GST and postage.

Enclose a cheque or money order made payable to ARHS (NSW Division) for the full amount. We also accept payment by credit card (American Express, Bankcard, MasterCard, Visa) Min $15.00.

How Do I Order Material from the Resource Guides?

The following steps should be followed when ordering selected material from the Railway Resource Centre:

Select and list the required material as shown in the Resource Guide

Calculate the total cost of photocopying printed material

Calculate the cost of photograph reproductions (refer Photo Reproduction Charges form)

Add the following charges:

- Access fee $15.00 (members free – quote member number)
- Photo administration fee $15.00
- Postage & packing charge $10.00

Payment may be made by cheque or money order in favour of the ARHS (NSW Division) and mailed to the ARHS Railway Resource Centre, 67 Renwick Street, Redfern, NSW, 2016. We also accept payment by credit card (American Express, Bankcard, MasterCard, Visa) Min $15
